Nanotale – Typing Chronicles will release on Windows PC, but we have a support update for Linux. Thanks to developer from Fishing Cactus. The games coming to Steam later this year.

Nanotale – Typing Chronicles is an atmospheric typing adventure RPG. Taking place in a colorful vibrant world. As a result, you follow Rosalind, a novice Archivist. While she journeys out into a valley to collect plant and rock samples for analysis. The valley is peaceful. War is a thing of the distant past. So nothing can go wrong with such a casual task… can it?

Fishing Cactus, the creator behind the award-winning adventure game Epistory. Nanotale – Typing Chronicles is the newest addition to the Typing Chronicles franchise. Coming to Steam in Q4 2019. Relying heavily on fast and accurate typing skills. So that players can venture to the edges of a picturesque world. Solve mysterious puzzles and go head to head with vicious enemies. There are also some epic battles of magic, as you save the dying planet.

Linux Support Update:

We are using Unity. While Linux release is planned it might come after the release of Windows PC version. Timing of such is not know yet. Will depend on how much support we need to provide to PC in the early phase of release (bugfixes and such). That said we released Epistory on Linux. And will be happy to support Linux with Nanotale as well.

The Linux release for Nanotale – Typing Chronicles is coming later. Which completely makes sense. Since Fishing Cactus are want to launch a stable native build. Continuing Linux support, and ideally positive reviews.
But do not despair. The use of Unity 3D should also mean Proton functionality.

Nanotale – Typing Chronicles – New Gameplay Teaser

Nanotale tells a fascinating story of a world on the brink of destruction. As the heart of magic siphons its last hits. Players take on Rosalind, who sets out to the magical valley. Collecting plant and rock samples. As well as catalog mysterious occurrences. While attempting to unravel the secrets surrounding the demise of the Earth.

Nanotale delivers a full out RPG experience. While players stumble upon and interact with other characters. And also solve various puzzles and unleash magical powers to defeat foes.
The game draws players in with unique game mechanics. Since everything from movement to combat, even to menu controls, is uses the keyboard. Likewise, challenging players to sharpen their typing skills during the game.

Nanotale – Typing Chronicles is slated to launch on Steam in Q4 2019. Releasing on Windows PC first. Followed by Linux support update after. How soon this happens depends on number of bug fixes.
