Total War: THREE KINGDOMS is the latest announcement from Creative Assembly, likely coming to Windows, Mac and Linux. Since the release is due in 2019, the Steam page does not list platforms. So platform support is an assumption but plausible.

SEGA Europe Ltd. just revealed the first in-engine cinematic trailer for Total War: THREE KINGDOMS. Also the next historical title in the strategy series. Coming from Creative Assembly and launching in Spring 2019.

Also, due keep in mind, the mention of Linux, Mac and Windows is based on previous releases. Since A Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA is the first release in this series. It’s only assumed this will be the case for the forthcoming debut in 2019.

Total War: THREE KINGDOMS is the first series game to take inspiration from a romanticised version of History. While taking influence by Luo Guanzhong’s 14th century historical epic ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms‘. Which follows the dramatic lives and deeds of near-mythical warlords. And also their retainers in 2nd to 3rd century China.

Trying to unite the country under their rule. Forging the next great dynasty. This is the first in-game cinematic of one such leader. Since he has designs on being the one true ruler of China. The cunning strategic mastermind, Cao Cao.
Bringing grand speeches, breath-taking siege battles and legendary duels.

Total War: THREE KINGDOMS – Gameplay E3 Live 2018

Total War: THREE KINGDOMS, Cao Cao will no doubt be the leader of choice. At least for players who enjoy a “divide and conquer” approach.

In another series first, Total War: THREE KINGDOMS features a romanticised version of the period. Including generals with preternatural fighting abilities. Also able to tackle scores of enemy troops single-handedly and heavily influence battles.
