Uncharted 4: A Thief's End developers are using "Linux And Cygwim CMD Line Tools"

Naughty Dog are currently working on a project for Playstation 4, “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End”. Recently, we received some development #updates on both these games from numerous developers working at the studio.

Anthony Vaccaro, 3D Environment Artist at Naughty Dog talked about what recently happened at the studio regarding Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. He stated that fans can expect to see some exciting environment in the game.

“Had an Environment Art review for #Uncharted4 today looking at what everyone has been working on. Exciting stuff! :D”

Lead Programmer Jason Gregory provided an update on The Last of Us: Remastered. He revealed that development work on the game is almost complete and game is close to achieving Gold Status.

Additionally, Jason revealed that they are pretty happy to make use of old school “Linux and Cygwin Command Line Tools” as knowone can beat the power it provides to developers.

“Yeah, we use a lot of Linux and Cygwin cmd line tools. Old school, but you can’t beat the power!”

So there you have it, the use of Linux or not, there seems to be a potential platform interest from Naughty Dog. What do you think? Will we get to see Uncharted 4 on Linux?
