Since Hinterland Studios’ The Long Dark has a new dramatic launch trailer. Which of course comes ahead of the games release.
The Long Dark launcehd as a Kickstarter title and has been in Early Access via Steam for almost three years now. Currently available on Linux, Mac and Windows, of course.
So now that Hinterland Studios announces the games official release date. The Long Dark will include a story mode across five episodes. The Long Dark story is “Wintermute.” While the first two episodes will release on August 1st. Further episodes three, four, and five will be available in late 2017. Going into early 2018.
So the first two episodes offer gameplayer from six to ten hours according to Hinterland Studios. Probably more since the game open world.
