Long Gone Days is a 2D modern-day military RPG coming this month for Linux, Mac and Windows. The games set in current times, with a focus on language and cultural barriers. While taking inspiration from classic dystopian literature and visual novels.
So the story kicks off after Rourke gets sent on his first mission. Having to leave The Core‘s base for the very first time. Also discovering the dark truth about the operation he’s part of. And the consequences of deserting an inescapable war.
With no place to call home now. He must prevent the war from spreading any further. Forming strong bonds along the way that will change his life forever.
From the point of story and gameplay. This also presents a unique opporunity for the player. Since there seems to be an emo element. While using a visual novel style of story telling. And then mixing in some shooter elements as well. Game look interesting.
