Lovely Planet Arcade sequel announced linux mac windows pc

Indie game #developer #Quicktequila out of Delhi or Vidhvat Madan – has just announced a sequel to the 2014 first-person #shooter Lovely Planet called, Lovely Planet Arcade.

The new game will allow players to teleport around bullets, containing more than a 100 levels spread over four different worlds, plus will also feature mirror and fast modes for every level. Lovely Planet Arcade returns to it’s roots of classic FPS games, as players are restricted to a simply jump and shoot.

Lovely Planet Arcade will be published by tinyBuild, arriving sometime in the summer of 2016. And available on Linux, SteamOS, Mac and Windows PC. According to the listing on Steam, Lovely Planet Arcade requires very reasonable system specifications:

  • OS: Ubuntu 12
  • Processor: 1.0 Ghz Dual Core
  • Memory: 512 MB RAM
  • Graphics: 1 GB, Shader Model 3.0
  • Storage: 100 MB available space
  • Additional Notes: Keyboard and Mouse Recommended

Music for the game will be provided by London-based composer Calum Bowen, who also worked on the original game, along with other platformers and mobile games.

Lovely Planet released for Linux, Mac, Windows PC and Steam OS on July 31, 2014 to positive reviews from both players and critics.
