Lucius III developer looking into support

lucius III developer looking into support

Lucius III violent adventure is coming to Windows, but the developer is looking into Linux apparently. All thanks to Shiver Games who are eager to announce the Lucius saga continues this month, launching December 13th. To accompany the announcement, Shiver includes some gameplay showing off some of the mysterious environments in the game.

Linux Support:

“We are working with Unity. It’s been in development for about 3 years now, and we’ve been working on it with a pretty small team (3-5 people).
Linux port is a possibility but not a certainty. We will look into it after the release.”

So given that Unity 3D is used for development once again. And Lucius II and Lucius Demake both have Linux support. Chances are looking decent, according to the developer. The only thing that triggers me is getting support last. But that seems to be the nature of native support releases. Where developers take into account both sales and reviews, first.

Now getting into the game itself, Lucius III returns to its roots in both gameplay and story. The game will play as a narrative adventure, focusing around the atmospheric little town of Winter Hill. Also the very same town where Lucius spent his first six years.

Lucius continues to fulfill the prophecy of the rapture. And finally we get to see where the road takes us. The story will include his signature gruesome violence and disturbing images. But this time there will also be some heartfelt moments of regret and sorrow.
