Machinika Museum puzzle game testing support for Linux gaming beside Windows PC. Thanks to the ongoing efforts of developer Littlefield Studio. The game is out on Steam and Humble Store with 90% Very Positive reviews. But only offering Windows PC support, for now.
Machinika Museum is a sci-fi puzzle game. Gameplay takes inspiration from classics both old (Myst) or new (The Room). Putting the player up against mechanical puzzles in a curious setting.
Developer for Machinika Museum is using Unity 3D, as confirmed by Littlefield Studio. So of course, the recent email reply also includes detail about Linux support.

So here’s the low-down on Linux support. Littlefield was aiming to only offer Proton support for Machinika Museum. But of course, their testing seemed to produce a couple of ugly bugs. Although nothing game breaking. Now, due to these results, the developers are opting to work on native support instead. Although they are not promising anything concrete. Testing Linux native support is now underway. And depending on their success, we could end up with a Linux build.
