Mighty Fight Federation fighting game for Windows PC is coming with support for Linux. Thanks to developer Komi Games. Which is also now live on Steam Early Access.
A stylish 3D arena fighting game, Mighty Fight Federation. Gameplay also aims to bring competitive play. Along with a mix of nostalgia and originality to the Fighting Game Community.
Mighty Fight Federation’s early access period begins. While players are able to access 11 Original Characters. Each with a unique playstyle that lets you fight any way you please. These characters will be joined later in early access phase by fan favourites So expect to see ToeJam & Earl and Yooka & Laylee.
Now since the game is only available for Windows PC. We reached out to Komi Games about Linux support. This is what they had to say.
Mighty Fight Federation is built on Unity. And we do have plans to roll out an Early Access build for Linux over the next few weeks.
As expected, this also no release date for native build. But it’s coming. And in all honesty, this gives Komi time to ensure smooth gameplay.
Mighty Fight Federation – Steam Early Access Launch Trailer
Designed for pro and casual players alike. So that anyone can play Mighty Fight Federation. Thanks to its accessible input system and deep combat mechanics. The full release will launch between late Q2 and early Q3 2020. Coming to multiple platforms. Which includes support for Linux and Mac as well.
Early Access Features:
- Pick from a roster of 11 Outlandish Characters. Since they all have their unique play styles. Place traps, throw explosive projectiles. While you charge in with rush-down combos. Find the style that fits the way you play.
- Battle through the Mighty Fight Federation tournament in Arcade Mode. This also features unique story intros and endings. Illustrated by Sonic the Hedgehog comic artist Adam Bryce Thomas.
- Compete with up to 4 players in Local and Online Multiplayer. All with a customizable suite of options. This will let you play exactly the way you and your friends want.
- Sway to the beat as you groove to the Star-Studded Soundtrack while you fight, featuring music from Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania), James Landino (RWBY, No Straight Roads), Vince DiCola (Rocky IV, Transformers) and Manami Matsumae (Mega Man, Shovel Knight).
As stated above, future updates will add ToeJam & Earl and Yooka & Laylee. Also, Tournament Mode and Character Training Missions, plus In-Game Tier Lists. Ranked Networking, plus a Replay System, among other features.
