Mighty No. 9 official release date set for Linux, Mac and Windows PC

The #release of Mighty No. 9, Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune’s Kickstarter project, has been set #finally.

Japanese site GameSpark reported #details of the release. During an indie game lecture at Unreal Fest 2015 in Yokohama, Japan, Inafune reviewed the delays the game has suffered for the release. Sighting the large number of platforms Mighty No. 9 is set to launch across as the main reason for being postponed. The game will be available on Linux, Mac, Windows PC, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, with the quality checks for each system serving as a major cause of the pushed date.

Mighty No. 9 is expected to hold true to this schedule, according to Inafune. Adding, if the game finds success after release, his studio Comcept is fully open to developing a sequel.

Mighty No. 9 will finally release for Linux and SteamOS on February 12, 2016. A demo for the game is now available to all backers.
