MindSeize 2D action adventure is delayed a couple of days on Windows PC, and Linux too. Thanks to a recent email from developer Kamina Dimension. Since the game was due to release on Steam, January 30th.
MindSeize will be release on PC February 4th.
We’ve been working hard. And we’re confident that we could have gotten a couple of small issues polished. In time before the release date. But in the end are forced to delay the release. By just a few days to get everything done in time.
We care about our game and fans greatly. And know many of you have waited for MindSeize to come out on 30th. But figured a couple of extra days would be the best course of action. To ensure the best possible game experience on the release day. Thank you for understanding!
MindSeize Kickstarter Trailer
So in case missed our other posts. Linux and Mac support is coming. Since the February launch “will only be Windows release. And Linux/Mac will follow (hopefully) shortly after that.” Obviously there is no release date yet. And now taking a bit longer due to some polishing. Coming to Steam on February 4th. And in fairness, I have not had a chance to test using Proton, yet.
To give you an idea about MindSeize gameplay. Think of Metroid Fusion mixed with Mega Man X. The story centers around the private investigator M.C. Fox. Who is chasing a dangerous mind stealing criminal organization. Also known as ‘The Ascended’ all over the galaxy.
There was a battle between M.C. and the leader of The Ascended. This also severely injured M.C. and left him crippled. And somehow managed to seize the mind of his daughter. This left only one choice for our protagonist. Hire a crew, connect his consciousness into a robotic body and continue the chase.
MindSeize has been in development for over two years. Partially funded by Kickstarter last year. The game will first release on Steam for Windows PC. Priced $19.99 USD. Followed there after by Linux and Mac.
