Mist Guard a new action RPG in development coming to Linux with Windows PC. Due to further details and effort of developer Edudelm. Working to make its way onto Steam later this year.
Independent game development studio Edudelm will be launching Mist Guard in Q4 of 2022. Which is an action RPG where you have to escape a dark, mysterious prison. So you will have to explore, fight enemies, and upgrade your character to escape.
But reaching out to the developer, this is what they had to say:
So definitely I’ll export to Linux, the more platforms the better.
So to start with, Mist Guard development is using Unity 3D. However, the developer is not very familiar with Linux yet is confident enough to release a native port. Since this all seems “doable”, then will have a native Linux release later this year.
Also, keep in mind, that this may be the developer’s first native port. The Linux community may have to be patient should any crazy bugs arise.

In Mist Guard, you just woke up in a dark prison. Without memories, but with one objective: to escape. You’ll have to face multiple enemies, cross dark corridors, and solve puzzles to proceed.
Originally known as Prisoner, the game was well received by players and had about 5K downloads with no marketing. Currently, a downloadable version of Prisoner is available on Gamejolt and itch.io for Windows PC.
