So back in July, Traptics #released their #postapocalyptic #multiplayer (for up to 4 players) brawler game Moribund. Currently available on Early Access for Linux, Mac and Windows PC.

So it’s important to keep the eye on the ball, hence Traptics bring more content to the game. A new theme, a futuristic city that houses ten more levels is the main event. Hence accompanied by new level specific mechanics that make them the game’s most challenging levels so far. Another addition is the team battle mode. Last but not least, there are noticeable UI improvements throughout.

Traptics are ready to show Moribund, at Indie Prize Casual Connect 2017 that taking place on February 7-9 2017 in Berlin, Germany.

The team and the game will be present at the very centre of the expo space, at booth number 1010. So it will be that much easier for the game to attract attention. As it should.

Each player comes equipped with a gun and two firing modes. The first mode is used to immobilised the enemy. While the enemy is immobilised, charge your harpoon (the second firing mode) and shoot it against the helpless enemy. So if they have not escaped, then a gory, splattery death is guaranteed. Then add 4 players, a couple of hazards and power ups in the mix. Hence everything becomes much more intense.

Moribund Features

  • Two game modes (Free for all and Team battle)
  • Eight unique characters split among 4 factions
  • A wide variety of levels (60 levels split over 6 settings, each with its own graphical environment, mechanics, and music tracks)
  • Several stage mechanics promising unique and hilarious deaths
  • Fully voiced over insults and taunts
  • The glorious rag doll. The pillar of the game allowing ever-unique dismemberment’s and deaths

The Traptics’s presence at this expo is important. Since Indie Prize Casual Connect caters to industry professionals and attracts both publisher reps and indie creatives. While in a space that better outlines better acquaintances, since the team’s looking for a publisher that can help Moribund spread its wings and fly higher.

So if you have not had the chance yet to check out Moribund on Steam Early Access. Available now on Linux, Mac and Windows PC.

Also coming to Early Access, Dimension Drive and take a look at EZRA: The Stranger.
