Morphies Law: Remorphed and native support

morphies law remorphed and the games linux support beside windows pc

Morphies Law: Remorphed releases for Windows PC, but we have Linux support details for the game. Thanks to the development work of Cosmoscope GmbH. Releasing the first person PVP shooter on Steam. Which also holds an 88% Postiive review rating.

Morphies Law: Remorphed is mass based shooter. This impressive launch also comes with a massive sweep of gameplay changes. The biggest among these is a huge upgrade with dedicated servers. And also the addition of crossplay between the Steam and Switch version. Finally, Fartnight, a new style of online demo with a strange twist. Since this lets you unlock the features you want from the full game. So you can leave the others behind.

Morphies Law: Remorphed is a fun, witty team based shooter. Where players fight in a variety of modes. Since they are all centered around a mechanic where size matters. Which you gain by shooting your foes. So we reached out to Cosmoscope for Linux support. Since the fluid gameplay shows signs of Unreal Engine 4.

Linux Support:

You have guessed correctly, we’re using ue4 for Morphies Law 🙂 We don’t know yet about a Linux port. But our lead programmer is a big Linux fan. So there is a chance!

So this is indeed positive news. As well as Unreal Engine 4 being used for development. Since this lends to some smooth gameplay. Including more fluid dynamics. Especially in a game like Morphies Law: Remorphed.
Also, as a measure to gain further community support. I have created a Discussions post to show some Tux Love. At least Cosmoscope know that there is interest in the game. Since Proton support seems to Bork.

But there’s a catch. After 30 minutes the games’ sounds will get swapped with a playful, flatulent audio. Tokens can be purchased that restore the original sounds and other features. At least until every feature in the full game is available. Don’t need offline play? Skip it. Like the fart sounds? Keep them!
