So independent developer Liber Primus Games announced that their epic #dark #fantasy adventure title Narborion Saga. Hence officially launching on March 21st via Steam. The Windows PC version of Narborion Saga will have an overhauled #combat system. Since this will include in-depth branching storylines, scattered around the open world and PvP battles. While making this epic fantasy adventure a whole new experience each time you play.

So what does this have to do with Linux? Since we did reached to Liber Primus to confirm a native release. As the gameplay style presents a true retro flashback to board gaming. Here’s their response:

“First it’s Windows only, but Linux and Mac are definitely in the backlog for later this year! Let’s hope the game is received well, so we can have justification for the platform expansion!”

So on behalf of supporting the developers, we have issued a Discussion post on Steam. Therefore, show that Linux love and here’s hoping we see a native release earlier.

The Narborion Saga for Steam combines three main RPG quests where players will have the opportunity to develop character abilities while learning new spells as well as dueling in Player VS Player combats. The gameplay will be broken down into small episodes and placed as locations on the map. To reach the episodes, players move their character on an overland map as well as on several smaller (swamp, city, and dark forest) maps. Once there’s something to do or discover, characters leave the map and enter a gamebook-styled narrative section to complete their quest.
