Nimbatus – The Space Drone Constructor sandbox action game gets a full release on Linux, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to developer Stray Fawn Studio. Who announces the release with a discount on Humble Store and Steam.
The action packed space engineering simulation Nimbatus launches. Since the game is now leaving Steam early access. Launching on Linux, Mac and Windows PC. This is a new release about exploring in space, science and creativity. While players craft custom drones from multiple parts. Then send them out into a procedurally generated galaxy. So you can collect resources and complete missions. Players can control drones or function as completely on their own. Simply by using logic and sensor parts. Even more, there are different enemies, biomes and planets you can destroy.
Players can craft drones out of hundreds of different parts. While exploring the destructible galaxy. Doing so in either in an anything goes Sandbox mode. Or the rather resource limited story based Survival mode. In Survival mode, Nimbatus players can choose a captain from one of six different models. Such as the tech savvy researcher or a tough old boxer. Even a mysterious cybernetic programmer (recommended for experts only!). Each captain offers different bonuses. So you can further customise drones and push builds to the limit. Below is a gameplay trailer worth checking out.
