Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle, Season One visual novel detective game releases on Linux with Windows PC. Thanks to the efforts of developer Tanuki-sama Studios. Available on Steam with a big discount.
Tanuki-sama Studios is happy to announce that the v5 update. Doing so for their popular indie courtroom adventure game Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle, Season One. The Linux build went live on November 24th, 2021. But with a couple of known issues.
This update adds numerous features to the game. These were also funded in part by a successful crowdfunding push in Autumn 2021. While the game hit its target in just 3 days.

These include:
- Steam Deck support & Linux support – via native Linux binaries (not using Proton)
- Additional character art for the Anya Miller & Judge Tawny characters
- Name cards in dialogue series to help with player understanding
- Upgrade to a newer version of the nwjs framework for improved performance
- Nina’s main OBJECTION pose is now animated
These new features bolster the Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle, Season One Steam release from July. While providing the player with over 10 hours of anime themed courtroom drama content. All taking place in a world where all anime genres exist at once.

TSS has been developing the Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle series since 2018. Doing so on a micro-budget funded out of their own pocket. Developed with revenue from sales of the game’s episodic releases. In that time, the game has reached fans across the globe. Also winning “Best of November 2020” on Newgrounds and maintaining a 5-star rating in over 200 reviews on itchio. Not to mention a 100% Positive rating on Steam.
This new artwork will be coming with the v5 update to the game. This also includes a native Linux version, optimized for use on Steam Deck.
