Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle, Season One Linux game port incoming beside the Windows PC release. Thanks to the continuous efforts of developer Tanuki-sama Studios. Due to make its release on Steam next week.
Tanuki-sama Studios is happy to announce that the v5 update. Which will soon be available for the popular indie courtroom adventure game Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle, Season One. Due to go live at 6pm UK time, November 24th, 2021.
This update will add a number of features to the game. Thanks to funding in part by a successful crowdfunding campaign in Autumn 2021. Which also hit its target in just 3 days. These features will include:
- Steam Deck support and Linux support – native Linux binaries (not Proton)
- Additional character art for the Anya Miller and Judge Tawny characters
- Name cards in dialogue sequences. Due to help with player understanding
- Upgrade to a newer version of the nwjs framework for improved performance
- Nina’s main OBJECTION pose is now animated

These new features bolster the Steam release from July. Which certainly provides the player with over 10 hours of anime-themed courtroom drama content. All taking place in a world where all anime genres exist at once.
Tanuki-sama Studios has been developing the Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle series since 2018. Doing so on a micro-budget funded out of their own pocket. Along with revenue from sales of the game’s episodic releases. In that time, the game has reached fans across the globe. Winning “Best of November 2020” on Newgrounds and maintaining a 5-star rating in over 200 reviews on itch.io. Now to mention a positive rating on Steam.
This new Nina Aquila: Legal Eagle artwork will be bundled with the v5 update. This is also due to include a native Linux version, optimized for use on Steam Deck. Currently available on Steam for Windows PC. All priced at $8.99 USD.
