Nine Witches: Family Disruption point and click adventure needs your vote for Linux with Windows PC. Thanks to the creative efforts of developer Indiesruption. Due to arrive later this year on both Steam and GOG.
Nine Witches: Family Disruption is the IndieCade nominated comedic alternate history occult adventure game. Which is certainly a lot to explain. Which is also due to arrive on December 4th, 2020 on Windows PC. But Linux support also seems to be missing from this unique adventure game. Here’s what Indiesruption has to say:
Regarding Linux, MonoGame is cross platform. So porting shouldn’t be a problem, but I don’t know how big the Linux market is. But, if it asks for it and we see a considerable mass of potential customers, we will do it for sure.
So this is kind of a mixed message. Since Nine Witches: Family Disruption is using a MonoGame. Making a Linux port fairly easy. But again, if the demand is there, the studio will create a native build. There is already a thread in the Steam discussions asking for a port. Which means the game needs your vote on Steam or a +1. And also Wishlist the game on Steam.
As World War II nears its climax, air raids and artillery shells are the least of Sundäe’s concerns. The remote Norwegian village, home to the delicious three testicled salmon. Which also catches the interest of the Third Reich’s Okkulte-55 Division. Who are certainly keen to exploit this supernatural hotspot. And maybe even turn the tide of battle in Germany’s favor. Enter two unlikely heroes: Professor Alexei Krakovitz, a Russian paranormal scholar, and his trusty assistant, Akiro Kagasawa. Both must save the day before the Nazis literally raise Hell.
