Ova Magica JRPG farming game due in 2023 on Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Which is the result of the creativity from developer ClaudiaTheDev. Working to make its way onto Steam and DRM-Free next year.
Need an endearingly vibrant, critter-catching wholesome JRPG farming game experience? Ova Magica is a special title combining the best of the JRPG, farming, and monster taming genres with life-sim elements. Which is also an ode to some of your favorite games, from Stardew Valley and Slime Rancher on Linux. All the way to timeless classics such as Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, Pokémon, Grandia, Jade Cocoon, and Azure Dreams.
In Ova Magica, you must manage a farmstead on the outskirts of a quaint little hamlet called Clover Town. Which is also full of colorful manga-stylized NPCs. There you will need to engage with them through conversations, gifts, and, of course, blob battles. As your relationship with the locals (some of whom you might choose to settle down with!) and town increases, the secrets of Clover Town start to unlock in front of you.
And by secrets, this means hidden temples, dungeons, and portals to exotic dimensions. These new worlds are due to contain strange items and priceless artifacts that hold the key to the town’s – and your own – future. Ahead of the game’s release in 2023, a new trailer demonstrates both never before seen gameplay. As well as features in the game are now available.
