Linux release:
A recent post by the developer on the Steam Discussion certainly shows some positive interest.
“It is a possibility for sure 😀 We’re looking into porting for both Mac and Linux!”
So as it stands, we will likely see a native release for the adventure platformer Owlboy. And further research shows that the game is built using XNA along with D-Pad Studio’s own game engine. Somewhat similar to what Salt and Sanctuary and Stardew Valley are created with.
Owlboy is available on Steam for PC with a 10% discount until November 8th. Stay tuned for that native build.
