P.A.M.E.L.A., the upcoming sci-fi survival horror FPS from #developers #NVYVE, hitting the number one spot by the #community, two days after launching on Steam Greenlight.

“After 10 days of amazing comments, support, and feedback, P.A.M.E.L.A. has been Greenlit! We were at the #1 spot after 48 hours, and thanks to all of your votes we stuck there until the end!

It’s a huge milestone for us, and it’s been truly amazing to see such a positive reception from everyone. You guys are awesome; make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for updates here!”

P.A.M.E.L.A. is an open world title with RPG elements currently in development for Linux and Windows PC, release date TBA 2016. Inspired by games like Mass Effect, Deus Ex, and Bioshock, P.A.M.E.L.A. investigates the underlying fault in humanity’s craving for technological and biological advancement.

Key Features:

  • Survive – Eat, sleep, and find shelter in a strange and unforgiving world.
  • Discover – Unveil the tragic mysteries that lie within the walls of Eden.
  • Scavenge – Find supplies and equipment before someone else does.
  • Build – Utilize advanced technology to construct and fortify your own safe haven.
  • Fight – Wield a wide array of advanced equipment and weaponry to defend yourself against Eden’s residents.

The player takes on the mission to uncover the tragic events that lead to the downfall of a civilization, having to fight for your life as the broken citizens of Eden defend their home against the players intrusion. Using a personality-driven AI system, no encounter will be repeated as the Afflicted react in unpredictable ways, driven by their excruciating pain and disfiguring disease. Explore the rich environments in the once vibrant city, uncover the truth behind the downfall, all the while trying to escape to safety.

Given that NVYE is a team consisting of just four people, P.A.M.E.L.A looks impressive and obviously development is coming along rather well. Expect to see P.A.M.E.L.A’s full release next year for Linux and Windows PC. Other platforms have yet to be confirmed, but rest assured, being a Unity game, the title will likely be fully cross-platform.
