Upcoming 2D parkour game, Parkour Legends, has just dropped an action-packed gameplay trailer. Many recent 3D games have added parkour elements to make movement more fluid and exciting. But the upcoming 2D parkour game from solo dev studio, Enter Grip, is showing off that parkour awesomeness. Doing so in 2D, move by move and pixel by pixel. While offering dozens of parkour stunts at your disposal.
Parkour Legends tests you to approach each level with creativity. The ultimate goal? To complete time-trial levels as quickly as possible. To do so, you’ll have to find the fastest routes using the most efficient moves.
The Parkour Legends trailer shows off new tricks. Such as rail sliding, and new scenarios, like avoiding security guards. Both are new features that have been added to the mix of over the top gameplay. Also, for eagle-eyed viewers, there are many gameplay details to glean from clips in the trailer. A blink and you’ll miss it Easter egg thrown in for good measure.

Solo indie game developer, Daniel Lowe, quit his day job to pour everything he had intoParkour Legends. All the character art, backgrounds, and gameplay were done by him. Which you can test for yourself in the Free Demo on Steam. Which does offer Linux, Mac, and Windows PC builds.
“After a really positive response to my early prototype, I knew I wanted to go all-in on making Parkour Legends as cool as possible. It’s parkour. You can’t half-ass it,” he says.
So naturally, the effort shines through with beautiful, buttery smooth player animations. There are also endless parkour moves and tricks on display. It’s fast-paced, adrenaline-filled movement and super fluid. While offering air-tight controls that will have fans of the genre eager to test their skills and climb the leaderboards.
