Project: New Light City game dev has plans for Linux support but after Windows PC. Thanks to details from developer Catch Light Interactive. Due to make its way onto Steam in 2022.
Catch Light Interactive launched a Steam Store page for their upcoming title, Project: New Light City. Allowing Steam users to now have the ability to Wishlist the game ahead of a Q4 2022 release date. All due to target a Windows PC debut.
However, there are plans for Linux support, according to an email from developer Catch Light.

So before you get all hyped about Project: New Light City. Do note that Linux support may depend on the audience reception. Plus the developers are using Unreal Engine 4 with plans to transition to Unreal Engine 5 sometime next year. With the game due to be released episodically. Chapter One expecting to release on Windows PC in Q1 2022.
