Punk Wars 4X turn-based strategy game offers a release date and Prologue for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Thanks to the creative efforts of developer Strategy Forge S.A.. Working to make its way onto Steam soon.
Strategy Forge is eager to announce further details. Since their 4X turn-based strategy game Punk Wars has an official release date, November 11th, 2021. But before this happens you can a give Punk Wars a try thanks to a free Prologue. This is available now via Steam. Which does include a Linux build, that works seems to only work via command line. Once you cd into the games directory, just run “./PW.x86_64“. Doing so at your own risk, accessing the Settings tab hung my game. But somehow the Demo works.
Or, if you prefer, simply Force Steam Play and run the game via Proton 6.3-7. It’s up to you, but it’s worth playing.
Just to remind you, Punk Wars is a unique single-player game. While offering a combat heavy twist in a classic turn-based 4X strategy. This is where steam, steel, atom, and diesel-punk clash. All due to spread their technology and philosophy.
