Real Studio Powering Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar & Grill TVs

MediaSwitcher Web™ app streamlines commercial and home entertainment with TVs tuned to perfection

Austin, TX (PRWEB) February 21, 2012

Real Software, creator of cross-platform software development tools, today announced that its product, Real Studio, was used to create an application that seamlessly tunes TVs at Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar & Grill and other locations worldwide. Developed in only three months, the MediaSwitcher™ app from Just Add Software, LLC provides home or commercial media automation switching quickly and easily. Supported by Mac, Windows, Linux and the web, the system is user-friendly and flexible, offering plenty of customizable features to fit users’ needs.
Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar & Grill deployed the software to streamline entertainment and will continue to expand on app features and to new locations. Video content is delivered from unique channels in sports, news and music, as well as a restaurant’s own live music, which is broadcast throughout the venue. Since implementing MediaSwitcher, bartenders can now easily change channels for customers in one place without walking around to each individual TV. Over the coming months, the software will be implemented at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar locations in Dallas, Texas, Rancho, California and Rosemont, Illinois.
“Real Studio is so user-friendly and flexible that it allows me to develop something that is simple to complex,” said MediaSwitcher developer Jon Ogden. “With Real Studio Web Edition, I can re-use code from desktop projects and deploy the app easily to virtually any platform or environment I need, including the iPhone or the iPad. I can also customize easily per the customer requirements.”

Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill chose MediaSwitcher for distributed video for the following reasons:

– Expandability – Just Add Software’s MediaSwitcher makes it simple to add and control more TVs or other video sources to allow the restaurant’s entertainment to easily expand as needed.
– Ease of use – When it’s a busy night and some customers want a game on TV #1, a different game on TV #7 and the finale of Glee on TV #4, the last thing the bartender or server wants to do is fumble with a difficult system that is clunky and hard to figure out. MediaSwitcher Web puts it all on an iPad, so with a touch of the screen, the bartender can route the signal to where it needs to go and get back to serving the customers.
– Customization – MediaSwitcher and MediaSwitcher Web allowed the restaurant to add its logo and its internal channels, along with several other options to further customize the restaurant’s video switcher.

With Real Studio Web Edition, Jon was able to re-use most of his MediaSwitcher code and released MediaSwitcher Web, a web-based version of his software that does most of what the desktop application does. Because of the ease and speed in development which Real Studio provides, he now has customers using his software packages all over the world, with customers in Europe, Australia, Nigeria and Malaysia.
