Developer Sabotage Studio today announced that Sea of Stars, the turn-based RPG inspired by the golden age of 90s role-playing classics, will draw adventurers into its whimsical quest August 29th, 2023. Releasing the launch date while showing off some of the game’s enthralling world.

Sea of Stars is developed in Unity 3D. However according the Sabotage Studio email reply, “they are not considering a full Linux port.” Which is interesting, since Unity does make porting to Linux far easier. Plus there has been a demand for a native Linux build going back to 2020. So I’m not sure how I feel about this decision. But at least we can expect the game to be Steam Deck Verified, as promised.
