Now on the wrong side of the Crown and its encroaching Inquisition.

Shores Unknown – Early Access Announcement
In this deeply customisable RPG, you will bolster your party while learning new skills. And in turn pursue your dreams of freedom and liberty.
Which all sounds well and good when you put it together. But The Steam page only shows Windows PC support. With an Early Access period expecting to be roughly 6 months to a year.
As the release of Shores Unknown appears on the horizon. Lead Developer Ilya Rudnev said: “Unfortunately, a Linux port isn’t something we’re considering at the moment. As our resources are limited and currently we’re focused fully on PC/Windows. But given enough interest, this is something we would be happy to consider after Windows release.”
While this is by no means confirmation for Linux gaming. There is hope for a native port after the Windows PC release. Which is due to arrive in February 2021. Giving the community time to show some love and Wishlist support on Steam.
This is what seems to be happening a lot now with developers, “given enough interest”. Trying to verify sales before committing to support. Due to the much smaller market share of Linux gaming.
But given that Unreal Engine 4 is being used, this is a good sign. And being that this is a single player game, it even leaves hope for Proton.
