Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows is a major expansion to the classic action adventure sidescroller, and coming free of charge. Thanks to the amazing generosity of Shovel Knight’s crowdfunding backers and Yacht Club’s project management team. Plague of Shadows is one of a number of free content updates coming to owners of the original game, bringing some beefy content.
While in this new expansion players take on the roll of the villain, adding crafting, alchemy systems, along with new locations, plus a Challenge Mode.
Plague of Shadows still still has no official release date, but it is due out before October’s physical launch of Shovel Knight.
