Developer Mega Crit Games is doing something unique on Steam Early Access in 2017. Since they are pairing card games and roguelikes together for Slay the Spire. Also working to create the best single player deckbuilder for Linux, Mac and Windows.
Players just have to craft their unique deck and engage bizarre creatures. Of course discovering relics of immense power to Slay the Spire.

When you embark on a journey up the Spire. This layout will differs each time. Choose a risky or safe path. Coming face to face with different enemies. Choosing from different cards. Discover different relics and fight various bosses.
Powerful items known as relics can be found throughout the Spire. The effects of these relics can greatly enhance your deck. But beware, obtaining a relic may cost you more than just gold.
Since I haven’t played Slay the Spire, the gameplay does look interesting. The idea of a roguelike mixed into a deck building game captures my attention. Particularly since we have a native Linux build.
