So Many Me Addictive Puzzle Platformer Launches a Kickstarter Campaign

If you like your puzzle platformers to come with a little bit of a twist, you’ll probably want to check out So Many Me – the latest title from Extend Studios which aims to deliver 2D #puzzle-platforming action inspired by the likes of The Lost Vikings, #Braid , and even Portal .

Having spent the last two years building So Many Me from the ground up, the game is currently 80% complete for PC/Mac/ #Linux . But as the recently-launched Kickstarter points out, developers and enthusiasts alike will tell you that the last 20% is always the hardest part. That’s why Extend Studios is seeking $22,000 to complete the project, which is officially described below:

You play an unassuming green blob named Filo who has an incredible ability: to control his many, many clones — called the “ME.” These clones possess all sorts of fun abilities that can be used to solve puzzles throughout the game. As you progress further through Filo’s adventure, you will find a variety of new types of clones. Understanding and harnessing their unique powers are key to your success.

Filo’s multiplicitous adventure takes him to a fantastical world, presented in a fun art style that combines adorable characters with the world’s mysterious atmosphere.

Obviously, that’s just an overview, but the Kickstarter page goes on to discuss various aspects of the game such as the ability to transform and recall and face off against giant boss monsters. Rewards for backing the campaign, which costs anywhere from $2 to $3,000 or more, range from a figurine of the game’s main character to input on the title’s actual level design.
