Space Robinson hardcore action RPG now has a Demo for Windows PC, plus we have Linux details. Thanks to developer Luxorix Games and publisher Alawar Premium. The Demo is now live on Steam. Playable via Proton.
Space Robinson releases their beta Demo on Steam. The game is expected to be released this October 2019. So not to far off.

This is probably the best rundown you can get. Since we do not have an exact release date. But what about a Linux port?
Linux Support?
Space Robinson is developed on Game Maker Studio 2. A Linux version of the game is planned. But so far only the Mac version has been tested.
But we have a goal to release the game on all 3 platforms: PC, Mac and Linux.
So there you have it. Linux support is in the works, but not tested. But you can check out that Demo now. And also Wishlist the game on Steam.
Space Robinson players will set out on an adventure. Doing so on a distant planet as a savvy space engineer. Called none other than ‘Space Robinson.’ And likewise, prepare to face countless enemies along the way. Survive in the wilderness, collect resources, and build protective turrets. So you can craft vast amounts of ammunition.
Space Robinson runs really well on Linux via Proton. Using a keyboard and mouse is easier than controller.
First, make sure to right-click to smash objects/walls. Left-click will fire your gun (when you get one). Also make sure to watch your ammo level. And pay attention to ammo drops as well.
When in doubt, use Q to Heal. And Dash using your Space bar to avoid getting hit.

Night and day sequence: there are special night monsters; your vision changes. While in the night you will see the surroundings in a narrow circle. A rather unique effect that in the Demo as well.
Random levels: random loot, random levels — it’s a rogue-lite, so after your death, you will be spawned on a special cloning base and will have to start your adventure again.
