“This is clearly the most surreal time of my life,” says Ian Proulx, CEO and co-founder of 1047 Games. “The support from the Splitgate fans has been incredible. Even as we work to improve the player experience. We couldn’t dream of having to scale up our server capacity so quickly, even though it caused us to face significant challenges in keeping up with player demand. All these steps taken in a short period of time have allowed us to create a stable gaming environment, where players can quickly find a server to play. I’m proud of what our team has accomplished, but there are still many other challenges to overcome! ”
“When it comes to the issue of backend network resources. The process involves a lot more than just the capacity of the Splitgate servers. Our main goal is server stability, and we iterate on the game’s hosting capacity to minimize player wait times. We want to do this right, and we’re also gearing up for a big new challenge when the game officially releases. While waiting for this crucial step, we are improving the beta with frequent updates. Adding content and permanent adjustments at all levels.”
