Splitgate seasonal Spookygate game Update is now live on Linux and Windows PC. Thanks to the continuous efforts of developer 1047 Games. Which you can certainly play for free via Steam.

1047 Games is getting festive as the company pushed a spectacular seasonal update. Taking place over the weekend, this is Spookygate. The Splitgate main menu and stadium has had a full Halloween makeover. So that fans can now earn three new fan created weapon skins. Which you can do by completing all new Halloween challenges, through to November 1st.

Additional updates include important enhancements to portals. Which now re-place when shooting the same portal on itself. As well as various bug fixes.

Earlier this week, 1047 Games and Logitech rolled out the first professional eSports tournament. Hence the Splitgate Pro Series, with a purse of $100,000 USD with cash and prizes from competition partner ASTRO Gaming. Spookygate content will be in rotation on the tournament playlist. But the enhancements are cosmetic and do not affect gameplay.

Matches are already begining and will be broadcasted via Splitgate’s official Twitch channel. So fans can keep up with results via the Splitgate Pro Series website.

One of the defining games of summer 2021, Splitgate exploded onto PC’s as the game hit open beta across all platforms in July. With more than 15 million downloads, the unique portal shooter features 20+ available maps. There are also hundreds of exclusive weapon skins, armor skins, banners, jetpacks, and more. Along with premium DLCs, a battle pass, and more.

Fans can jump into Season 0 now, completely for Free. Which you can do via the Splitgate Steam page. Offering up builds for both Linux and Windows PC. Including all of the latest changes, fixes, and Spookygate content.
