The full release is coming to Linux, Ubuntu, Mac and Windows on September 27th. This highly realistic space management simulation games spent a full orbital rotation around the Sun in Early Access. So that’s one year to you Earth dwellers. Yet having undergone consistent and significant updates.

So players design, build and control their own space station. Since mission command and control is in your hands. Yet only careful planning and vigilant supervision will keep your crew and space station safe. Manage scarce resources, survive a multitude of disasters. While funding your station’s growth by completing research projects. All available across Linux, Ubuntu, Mac and Windows.

Stable Orbit is a highly realistic space management simulation game. Set in 2034, an unprecedented ‘All Nations Space Coalition’ has been formed around a shared desire. Rebuild mankind’s permanent presence in space. But space is a dangerous place. The only things between survival and your crew suffocating, blood boiling and radiation overdose are the thin walls of the space station.

As Station Commander, can the crew rely on you? Or in the words of legendary NASA Flight Director Gene Kranz: “failure is not an option!”. Since players have critical life support in their hands.

So the games Early Access launch sees the average user embarking upon approximately 220,000 complete orbits around the earth. Equalling about 28 billion kilometers travelled in their own, personal space stations.

Upon its full release on September 27th, Stable Orbit will be updated to version 1.0 with a major update adding even more community requested features such as strategic orbital management, disasters including meteor strikes & airlock failures and a sandbox mode to allow free form creation of the mother of all space stations.
