Star Citizen Alpha 2.0 released with a major $100 million milestone


Cloud Imperium Games behind the massively popular Star Citizen #space #simulation game, have announced the game’s Alpha 2.0 version is now #available for all backers. On top of that, the crowdfunding is about to top a major milestone, nearing a $100 million mark. Plus, it’s time to get out of the ship to get up close and personal, as the title adds first-person combat to the gameplay.

Star Citizen is expected to release in 2016 on Linux and Windows PC. And now that the developer has officially launched Star Citizen‘s Alpha 2.0 to all backers, this is indeed big news.
