Paradox Interactive is a publisher and developer of games for crafty and resourceful players. Announces Stardeus. which is due to be released under the Paradox Arc publishing initiative. Doing so in partnership with Kodo Linija, a solo developer based in Lithuania. Stardeus, a sci-fi base building and colony sim game. Which will release in early access on October 12, 2022. Where it is due to remain in development for 2 to 3 years.
Inspired by Factorio and Rimworld, Stardeus is a deep colony sim. One that also takes place on a broken starship. This is manned by drones and hibernating human survivors. As the eternal AI you will have your drones repair your starship. You have to save or use your human crew and travel the stars. Check out the trailer to get a better idea.

Stardeus is a sci-fi colony management sim with aspects of automation. This also includes base building and space exploration. All while you take on the roll of a new AI tasked with building and managing a huge starship. As a player, you must watch over robots, drones, and humans. Doing so as they handle the building and upkeep of their mobile colony. While taking care of any problems that may come up from outside calamities. Or the less than reliable nature of their free willed colonists. Craft machinery and resources, automate production chains, and manage power and oxygen. Then take to the stars to explore new planets. So you can trade with merchants and fend off violent raiders.
Stardeus offers a deeper story through an in-game Story Generator. This includes modding support and countless customization options. Developed in a close effort with the game’s community. While new options and features are added.
