One of the more intriguing announcement in gaming news, the #release of The Archotek Project. Hence this is a #dinosaursimulator and #sandboxgame for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. While currently in Early Access on Steam, the game allows player to take the roll of a dinosaur. Managing your own ecosystem, creating unique environments and scenarios. All while influencing the genetics of your animals, their look, behavior and interactions with surroundings.

Since I’ve been pondering whether to post news. Yet the gaming experience looks too intriguing not too. That and it’s sort of a reverse scenario of games like Ark: Surivival Evolved. Hence creating a more unique take on the experience of ecology and managing dinosaurs. Sort of like a City Skylines for dino’s?

So The Archotek Project focuses on single-player experience. While also allowing players to take on co-op gameplay or with random people on dedicated servers.

Gameplay is straight forward, you start with one of several dinosaurs. Then slowly build your own ecosystem. Earning points then unlocking more flora and fauna to expand the world. While manipulating the genomes of your animals. Improving their stats, changing their appearance and behavior due to creating unique scenarios.
Or you might want have instant access to all dinosaurs and plant life. Playing without limitations. Then the Sandbox mode is the way to go. And also a great way to learn the basics of the game.
