CD PROJEKT RED, creators of the really #coolgame with a lot of dialogues that don’t actually bore you to death, are proud to #announce an entirely new DLC — Roach.

Available soon for only $4.99, the Roach DLC unlocks limited premium content — a horse you can finally identify with! Pre-order customers will receive an exclusive Roach sticker so they can stick it… on their gaming system.

We’re always listening to gamers, and gamers are telling us they are throwing money at the screen and nothing happens. That’s why we’re extremely thrilled to be able to make something happen, said April Loofs, Senior Executive Officer of Incremental Revenue Acquisition & Fun, CD PROJEKT RED.

Still no word on the Linux release…. yet.

The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition in the works and potential Linux release

Retailer listings were #posted in #error, “there’s no Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we are aware of,” according marketing lead Michał Platkow-Gilewski #explained. “This is some kind of error that we will look into.”

Multiple online retailers have posted product pages for a “Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Enhanced Edition.”

Discovered by NeoGAF, European retailers E.Leclerc and SmartToys both published listings for the unannounced title, outlining that the release is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early February.

The Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3 has not been announced by CD Projekt Red, making this news a rumour at this point. The Polish developer has released Enhanced editions for the two previous Witcher games. No details have been available for what will be included with the reported Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition. Plus we are still waiting for the Linux release, which we know is coming but CD Projekt Red has not commented on the launch.

We have contacted CD Projekt Red in an attempt to get more details and will update this post with anything we hear back.

The Witcher 3 launched in May 2015 and has already sold more than 6 million copies.

The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine the next expansion coming, but WHERE IS THE LINUX RELEASE??

CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher series of games, have just released the first screenshot from the upcoming expansion to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Blood and Wine. The expansion is #slated for #release in the first half of 2016. The studio has also #announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has collectively garnered over 300 awards, including a Golden Joystick for Ultimate Game of the Year, and The Game Award for Game of the Year.

“2015 is almost behind us. It’s a great year for open world games and a fantastic time for The Witcher. A year of intense work for the team and a time filled with many personal victories for everyone involved in a project that received more than 300 awards so far (wow!). We overcame so many obstacles to get to this point, and we’ve always done it with gamers rooting for us. It’s your year, too!” said Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director, CD PROJEKT RED. “Blood and Wine, the second expansion for The Witcher 3, is on the horizon. It’s a massive new land to explore, visually unlike anything you saw in Wild Hunt or Hearts of Stone, and it too is brimming with stories we want you to discover,” adds Tomaszkiewicz.

Blood and Wine is a 20-hour tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, and will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret. Currently, Blood and Wine is available for purchase as part of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion Pass — more information available here.

CD Projekt Red and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at The Game Awards 2015

CD Projekt Red, creators of The Witcher #series of games, are proud to inform that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt #won two #awards during this year’s The Game Awards gala in Los Angeles.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was named Game of the Year and Best Role-Playing Game.

CD Projekt Red was also awarded the title of Developer of the Year.

Earlier this year, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won in four categories during the Golden Joystick Awards. The winning categories were: Ultimate Game of the Year, Best Storytelling, Best Visual Design and Best Gaming Moment. CD Projekt Red was also awarded the title of Studio of the Year.

CD Projekt Red team have certainly earned their awards, with all the free DLC’s, this is still one of the most sought after titles. And much of this has to do with the initial release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launched with great reviews and feedback from the community. There were no real game breaking bugs to speak of.
And yes, all of this is fine and well, but we are still waiting on news regarding the Linux/SteamOS port. Somewhat patiently.
