The Falconeer action adventure game support will be soaring through the skies on Linux with Windows PC. According to details from developer Tomas Sala. Which continues to collect Very Positive reviews across Steam, GOG, and Humble Store.
Find spark in the skies and oceans of the Great Ursee. Developer Tomas Sala has been hard at work with The Falconeer development for the past year. However, since creating a post in the Steam Discussion forum, the good news is brewing.
But I’ve been working on the Linux build last week, with some community help. And it’s shaping up well, I’ve got a native build with working cloudsaves and achievements through steam.
This is the recent email reply from Tomas Sala. We began emailing over a year ago about Linux support for the Unity based game. It seems things have slowed down enough for Tomas to actually work in a native build. Which is exactly what is taking place right now. Thanks to all who are helping with Linux testing. Although I’m impressed to know that cloud saves and achievement work. But no word on the release date, as stated in the Discussion.
The Falconeer | Launch Trailer
The Falconeer is an open world air combat game. While offering over 12 hours of gameplay, this combines a truly original story and an eclectic original soundtrack. The Falconeer is scored by the award winning composer Benedict Nichols. With support from an incredible multi-language voice over cast, including Mikee Goodman, Carolina Stiles, and Tegen Hitchens.
The Falconeer includes upgrades, such as the re-recording of significant voice-over work. There is also a streamlined prologue tutorial. Previously only releasing on Windows PC, soon you will be able to begin the journey on Linux. Taking to the skies of The Great Ursee aboard a giant Warbird. Which oddly enough works at a Platinum level via Proton.
The Falconeer action adventure game is available on Steam, GOG, and Humble Store. All priced at $19.99 USD / £15.99 / 19,99€. Including support for Windows PC, and soon, native Linux too.
