The Falconeer action adventure game takes flight with native support for Linux and Windows PC. All due to the efforts of developer Tomas Sala and the community. Available now on Steam and Humble Store, GOG (Windows PC).
Trailblazing solo developer Tomas Sala is eager to announce the release of, The Falconeer on Linux. The community has certainly been patient and we now have native build beside Windows PC. Along with a quiet release, also making a debut on Steam, January 29th.
According to details from Tomas Sala, there were some minor issues. Such as “simply getting the steam stuff, cloud saves etc working was the most figuring out.” Plus with the help of the community for game testing. The Falconeer official Linux build went live on February 11th. Plus the developer also recommends playing with a game controller.
Likewise, if you have a Steam Deck, set the resolution to 1280×800. Since it will upscale the UI a bit more to accommodate. There is also a UI slider in settings.
