Recently, Thotwise Games teased that it would soon have news on its upcoming #virtualreality (VR) compatible #horror title, The Hum, following its failure to reach a Kickstarter funding goal earlier in the year. The wait for that news continues, but the #developer has at least released a new look at the videogame, which suggests it is making good progress despite the crowd-funding set back.
The clip gives players an in-engine look at The Hum, which is being developed using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4. The title tasks players with surviving in a world that has been invaded by hostile aliens. Fans can see just how that world looks in this clip, providing a glimpse of an abandoned city environment and even a look at the aliens and their technology. The title certainly seems to be making impressive progress.
The Hum is coming to PC with support for the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD), Linux and Mac are expected as well. A PlayStation 4 version of the experience featuring support for the Project Morpheus HMD is also planned.
