Publisher Assemble Entertainment is best known for point-and-click adventure games. Such as Leisure Suit Larry – Wet Dreams Don’t Dry. They are obviously working with developer Robot Pumpkin Games. Announcing The Innsmouth Case. Which is a choose your own adventure game. And as such, takes place in the mysterious and foreboding Lovecraft universe. Due to release in Spring 2020. But only coming to Mac, Windows PC, iOS, and Android. While taking players into a truly harrowing journey. Since nothing is what it seems.
For the moment we don’t have any plans to port The Innsmouth Case to Linux. Because we are a small team. But we are not adverse to give it a chance later.
We work with Unity. So it wouldn´t be a big deal to port the game to Linux later on.
The Innsmouth Case doesn’t even have a trailer yet. But the developers are encouraging towards a Linux port. And it’s not really a surprise to see Unity 3D being used. Which should also be good news for Proton support. Whenever the release actually does take place.
Gameplay focuses on the enigmatic disappearance of little Tabitha Marsh. And as a result, the most clever detective is not only wanted. But also desperately needed here.
