ScourgeBringer and Living Walls update come thanks to French developer Flying Oak Games. Including composer Joonas Turner (Nuclear Throne, Downwell). And also publisher Dear Villagers. Who are all eager to announce the fast paced rogue platformer ScourgeBringer. Since the game now has its first major content update, “The Living Walls”.

ScourgeBringer certainly aims to channel the mystery of an early rogue platformer. As a result of fluid control, aerial combat, pixel graphics and a punchy soundtrack. The story follows hero Kyhra. Who now faces a new realm, The Living Walls. As she gets sent away to uncover the secrets of an Eldritch monolith. Which is also threatening to destroy her world. Armed with her trusty combat drone. Kyhra shoots and slashes her way through the infinite depths of an ever changing dungeon. While she faces gigantic bosses and ancient machines. As well as strange ghosts. And above all, untold secrets from previous explorers.

ScourgeBringer is still in open development in Early Access. With an in-game feedback system gathering reports from players. Even more, a look behind the curtain courtesy of regular development updates. All thanks to Flying Oak Games.
