For players waiting to #buy Batman: Arkham Knight on #Linux, the wait is still underway but the PC re-release is not far off.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment dropped hint of the game’s PC re-release in the press #release for the new Tumbler and Arkham Asylum skins DLC.

“Batman: Arkham Knight is based on DC Comics’ core Batman license and is available now for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft. The PC version of the game will be available in the coming weeks.”

This may not be a definitive date, but considering the size of the recent patch, the game should be ready for re-release very soon.

The sales of the Batman: Arkham Knight PC version were suspended back in June, both digitally and at retail. This came after reports of the release having incredibly poor performance, with only a few people being able to play the game successfully. And there is no word on whether Windows PC players will be compensated for the long wait.

As for the Linux release, Feral Interactive do not have an official statement regarding development, but it would be safe to say the delay of the Windows PC release has set the dev team back. So the sooner the re-release takes place, the greater our chances of seeing that Linux release.
