A Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA will officially get Linux and Mac support. Feral Interactive just announced the epic historical strategy games coming release. While Linux and Mac support will release shortly after the Windows launch on April 19th.
The games originally developed by Creative Assembly. And also published by SEGA for Windows. So LGC reached out to SEGA only to receive the following reply:
Any news regarding Linux support?
“We only have a release on Windows in our current plan.”
Since this was confirmed on February 1st, the day SEGA announced the launch of A Total War Saga: THRONES OF BRITANNIA. Alas, nothing in the plans via Creative Assembly and SEGA. Now Feral Interactive release news about a Linux and Mac port, over two weeks later.
While there is probably some reason for this delay. It would be great to see Feral Interactive working more closely with Creative Assembly and SEGA. Since we could be boasting Linux support, with the initial announcement.
