Wild Dogs puts players in the midst of a chaotic alien invasion. Where the world is under attack and the army is struggling to defend against the invaders. Linux players join the mission to hunt down the aliens and save the world, using every possible means to accomplish the task. Also, when you buy the game, some of the money you spend goes to help animals in need.

QUByte Interactive is working with two non-profit organizations called Cão Sem Dono and Amigos de São Francisco. Due to help over 500 animals that have been rescued from abuse or neglect on the streets. By buying Wild Dogs on Linux, you are also helping these animals in real life.

The game itself is about saving the world from aliens who are attacking. The army is having a hard time stopping the aliens, so they call in two specialists to help. One of them is named Major Frank “Pumpkinhead” Williams. The other is his partner Teddy, who is a dog.

In Wild Dogs you fight aliens while using a rage of weapons and vehicles. Like cars and helicopters. The game has five different scenes with lots of aliens to defeat. You can shoot in eight different directions on Linux, even pilot planes and mechas.

There are also big boss fights with really strange and different creatures. You can use powerful shots to take them down. One unique feature about Wild Dogs is that you can change the color palette in the game. And, of course, you can pet Teddy the dog.

The game’s graphics, sound effects, and music, all contribute to creating a fun and deep gameplay. Linux players will also appreciate the game’s difficulty level, since it’s challenging without being frustratingly hard.

Wild Dogs has received some criticism for its short length and lack of replay value. But ultimately this is a well-made game for Linux that is worth playing.
