WRATH: Aeon of Ruin will get a native Linux release beside Windows PC. Thanks to confirmation from 3D Realms. Now available on Humble Store, GOG and Steam Early Access.
WRATH: Aeon of Ruin the dark fantasy horror FPS is available. Also powered by the original Quake engine. Releasing now from publishers 3D Realms and 1C Entertainment. And developed by KillPixel Games. While unleashing bloody fury on Windows PC. But where is the expected Linux support? This was supposed to be live on Steam!!
The game will have a full Linux support at the launch!
So this is the reply from 3D Realms. Since the games in Early Access only. This means support is limited to Windows PC. And as stated via the FAQ on Steam. This means “WRATH: Aeon of Ruin will be playable on PC this Summer. While the full version will release on PC, Mac, Linux early 2020.” Therefore native support is a ways off. While Proton support is a solid Plan B, for now.
