We’re committed to Linux support for the full release!
Xenotheria takes place on Wolf Prime. A sprawling desert planet that is also the galaxy’s most important trading port. A seemingly ordinary day quickly turns chaotic after a mysterious tragic event. This also leads to a shower of spaceships, satellites, and orbital stations. All raining havoc down on the innocent souls of Wolf Prime.
The gameplay events of Xenotheria take place right after this apocalypse. Squiggles, known for shying away from the spotlight, takes center stage in Xenotheria. Starting as a fight for survival in the remains of a shipyard. Which then turns into an epic journey across Wolf Prime. Doing so in a search for the truth behind the event.

Squiggles by the way is a hard-working, spaceship construction yard worker. Who also happens to have a good heart (yes, touching isn’t it). During his adventures, he will meet diverse and unique characters, some of who will join him on his quest. While letting the player explore hand crafted biomes. Then salvage once orbiting ships for new gear. Solving thought provoking puzzles to earn powerful new cards.
While Wolf Prime offers its moments of beauty. It’s a world plagued with marooned aliens seeking hope and escape. Gameplay in Xenotheria fuses isometric exploring (Divinity: Original Sin, Pathfinder) with deckbuilding. Which is highly customizable. Similar to the deckbuilding in Thronebreaker and Steamworld Quest. All due to creating tactical battles along with deep story telling.
Xenotheria’s combat offers setting assets and fault. Derelict ships with scattered debris create a chance to take cover. So you can use basic attacks to gain advantages over foes. The mix of deck management and grid based movement provides players with a set for each battle on their terms.
The Kickstarter campaign for Xenotheria goes live on Tuesday November 16th. Sign-up is open now. On top of this, an early bird promotional event will be live for the first 48 hours of the campaign. Since this offers a 20% discount on the base game. But you can sign up new to be entered.
The crowdfunding campaign will offer support for both Linux and Windows PC. Also, be sure to join the games Discord server.
