yes your grace developer is not sure yet about linux mac windows pc

Yes Your Grace story based kingdom management is slated for Linux, Mac and Windows PC, but the developer is not sure yet. According to a recent reply from developer Brave At Night. Due to release in early 2020 on Steam.

Yes Your Grace is being publishing label No More Robots. Who is behind games such as Descenders, Hypnospace Outlaw, Not Tonight, Nowhere Prophet. While developer Brave at Night has revealed release on Windows PC and console in 2020. And likewise, they have a new trailer for the story driven kingdom management game.

This also sounds a-typical for any game release. However, the Steam page does not list Linux. Yet the Yes Your Grace Kickstarter page does list Linux, Mac and Windows PC as supported platforms.

Linux Support:

The game uses Unity. We’re not sure about Linux yet. Waiting until closer to launch to decide.

Therefore, if you are one of the 570 backers who pledged the campaign. It seems that Yes Your Grace might not receive a day one release. And the fact that the campaign outlines Linux, Mac and Windows PC. It leaves native support in question. Hopefully Brave At Night does not do what ArtPlay did with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Yes, Your Grace Reveal Trailer

Inspired by Slavic folklore. Yes Your Grace tells the tale of a medieval kingdom. Where monsters and arcane practices are just a typical day at the office. You are King of the land. And also tasked with talking your villagers through their various problems. From monsters attacking the village. Up to a lack of places to relax and enjoy themselves.

Some will bring humour to your throne room. And some will present you with difficult choices. Your family is important too, and throughout your time as King. You will also have to support them in their struggles.

Launching early 2020, Yes Your Grace will task players with:

  • Listening to petitioners each turn and decide who needs your support
  • Aiding your family with their personal problems and decide upon their fate
  • Hiring Generals, Witches and Hunters to aid your efforts
  • Making alliances by satisfying the whims of lords and kings
  • Following the stories of the quirky, determined characters that visit your halls

No More Robots and Brave at Night will run a public beta for Yes Your Grace in November, giving players their first taste of the world of Davern. Players simply sign up at the Yes Your Grace Discord and follow the instructions to secure their Steam key for the upcoming beta.

Yes Your Grace is coming to PC and console platforms in 2020, and will be shown publicly for the first time at EGX in London later this month.
